Q4 2023 Snapshot: Top Drawing & Coloring iOS Apps in Australia

In the fourth quarter of 2023, Australia's iOS platform saw varied performance among the top Drawing & Coloring applications. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the trends for these creative outlets.

My Coloring Book experienced a significant spike in downloads, jumping from a mere 1K to 42K in the first week of November, before gradually declining to 1K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, escalating from 53 to over 56K in mid-November and then decreasing to 22K. Revenue for the app, which was nonexistent in early October, saw a peak of 17K USD mid-quarter before dropping off again.

Color by Number：Coloring Games displayed more consistency in revenue, maintaining figures between 5K and 7K USD throughout the quarter. Downloads for the app showed an upward trend in December, rising from 3K to 7K, while weekly active users saw a significant increase from 17K in late October to 24K by the year's end.

X-Flow's Happy Color® Art Coloring Book generated steady revenue, fluctuating between 300 and 450 USD weekly. Its downloads saw a late surge in December, climbing from 2K to 4K, coinciding with an increase in weekly active users from 30K to 33K, suggesting a strong finish for the year.

Phone Case DIY did not generate revenue this quarter, but downloads saw a notable uptick in the final week, jumping from 2K to 4K. Weekly active users also reflected this growth, increasing from 9K to almost 15K in the same period, indicating a resurgence in user engagement.

Lastly, Drawing Carnival also without revenue, witnessed a decrease in downloads from 6K in late September to 2K by Christmas. However, weekly active users saw a modest rise from 4K to nearly 6K at the quarter's end.
